BIOCARE Ltd.was founded in 1995 with the goal to develop beneficial insectary with high quality and for a low price. Our main field is Trichogramma brassica. In the third year after foundation BIOCARE delivered more than 50% of the German market. Now we deliver our products in several countries in Europe and worldwide.

Trichogramma

Trichogramma brassica is the most famous beneficial insect worldwide and is used on an area of more than 2 million ha. Against the corn borer Ostrinia nubilalis we are producing Trichogramma brassicae in a packaging

developed by BIOCARE. We are offering two systems; one for hanging directly on the leaves, the other one for throwing-out application.

Sitotroga Cerealella

The eggs of Sitotroga cerealella, which we are using for breeding Trichogramma brassicae are also very suitable as food for other beneficial insectary, e.g. Chrysoperla carnea, which can be used against greenflies in greenhouses. Furthermore, we supply laboratories and other research institutions with our Sitotroga cerealella.

Service and consulting

Our permanent goal is to optimise our production lines and products. We are in investing more than 20% of our turnover into research. Hence we are able to offer successful consulting in production and application. Our international experience is necessary for our success.
